“Imperial Throne” Armchair

The story

In 2020, Maison DESMALTER has recreated the “Imperial Throne” armchair from the Throne Room of the Tulleries Palace – numbered edition – made in mahogany wood, carved by hand and plated in gold leaf by French craftsmen, covered by the silk velvet. The armrests in the shape of winged lions – a political and religious symbol, expressing power and majesty with the symbol of the Imperial Star with 8 branches – which has become a signature of Maison Desmalter.
